Recital of famous Serbian church chant “Mario Slavna” in the Crypt of the Temple of Saint Sava, in Belgrade, Serbia

Gabrijela Ubavic was delighted and honored to be invited by the Palestinian Embassy in Serbia, the Academy of the Serbian-Orthodox Church for Art and Conservation, the Association of Art Culture and Tourism FraktalART and the Patriarchal Administration of the Temple of Saint Sava for contributing to the solemn and intercultural celebration “Saint Sava’s stay in Palestine” (Боравак Светог Саве у Палестини) on the Saint Sava Day of 27 January 2020. The celebration took place in the Crypt of the Temple of Saint Sava (Храм Светог Саве), in Belgrade, Serbia, to commemorate the pilgrimage of Saint Sava (1174–1236, born as Prince Rastko Nemanjić) to the Holy Land and his visit of the Greek-Orthodox Holy Lavra of Saint Sabbas (better known in Syriac as Mar Saba, founded in the year 483), which journey took place in the years 1229-1230. Gabrijela Ubavic was performing the famous Serbian Church Chant “Mario Slavna”.
