Gabrijela Ubavic was delighted to support the book launch of Marco Pomerio’s new release “Die geheimnisvolle Reise eines Sandkorns” on 18 September 2019 in Basel, Switzerland, at the gallery Sarasin Art (www.sarasinart.ch) by performing the captivating lied “Widmung” of Robert Schumann of the song cycle „Myrthen“ (opus 25) of 1840 and the aria „O mio babbino caro“ of Lauretta from Giacomo Puccini’s opera „Gianni Schicchi“ premiered in 1918. Piano accompanist was Nevena Zivkovic.
Many art-interested people, government members, representatives of religious communities, academy and education were attending the book launch. It was a great and very inspiring event including literature, music and painting. Here is the link to the interesting programme and the song lyrics flyer.
